Bayern in talks over new Muller deal.

Thomas Muller is in talks over a new contract with Bayern Munich, the Bavarians’ sporting director has revealed.

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed the club are in talks with Thomas Muller over a new contract for the 35-year-old striker, Ufabet Germany reported on Friday. 

Muller’s contract is due to expire this โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที summer, with reports suggesting that this season could be his last for the Bavarians and that he could retire after that, but no decision has been made as of yet, with Bayern Munich in talks over a one-year extension.

‘He’s an important figure for FC Bayern and will remain so. He has experienced everything at this club. He is very important for us. The discussion with Thomas will definitely be very short. There will be no long negotiations, just a question of ‘Hey, do you want to stay? And what are your plans?’ But that is still a long way off,’ Eberl said.

Muller has mostly been a substitute this season and when he has played, he has struggled, but Bayern Munich are planning to extend the player’s contract by another year, as are 38-year-old goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Earlier this campaign, Müller became Bayern’s record appearance holder, surpassing Sepp Maier. While in the summer, he was also a part of the Germany squad at EURO 2024 and retired from international football after the tournament.

Müller will likely be call upon once again this season due to eh absence of Jamal Musiala in Bayern’s opening game of 2025 against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
